Pomegranates also contain vital B-complex groups of vitamins such as pantothenic acid (vitamin B-5), folates, pyridoxine and vitamin K, and minerals like calcium, copper, potassium, and manganese. Kiwis have extraordinary health benefits as well; they are an abundant source of vitamin-A, vitamin-E, vitamin-K and flavonoid anti-oxidants such as beta-carotene, lutein and xanthin. Both fruits also contain high amounts of potassium; one serving of this drink offers 440 mg of potassium – That should take care of any cramps! This nutrition packed recovery drink is perfect for those with a sweet tooth and can easily be made in under a few minutes.

Yield: 4 servings
- 1 pomegranate
- 2 kiwis
- 1 bosc pear
- 1 banana
- 1 cup vanilla coconut milk
- 2 cups of ice
1. Peel the kiwis and banana, remove fruit from pomegranate, and slice pear into four pieces.
2. Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container and secure lid.
3. Select Smoothies program.
4. Press Start.
5. Wait for cycle to finish (adding more ice if necessary).
[If you are using the 5200 series, simply work your way up to high setting and leave there for 30-45 seconds]
