Pomodoro Punch

Are you looking to rocket your health into the next dimension?  My Pomodoro Punch might just do the trick.  Tomatoes are a treasure-trove of many necessary vitamins and minerals that ward off disease.  Pomodoros (tomatoes) provide Vitamins A, C, and K.  Plus, they contain folate, potassium, thiamin, niacin, B6, and magnesium.  If that’s not enough, the red grapes will boost your body with antioxidants which can help to lower your risk of high cholesterol, blood pressure, and heart disease.  I added the figs and dates for sweetness and extra potassium.

Preparation: 5 minutes

Program: Smoothies

Yield: 1 serving

  • 2 Medium Tomatoes
  • 2 Black Figs
  • 2 Dates
  • 1/2 cup Red Grapes
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup ice
    1.  Place all ingredients into your Vitamix container and secure lid.
    2.  Select Smoothies program.
    3.  Press Start.
    4.  Wait for cycle to finish.
    5.  Pour and enjoy!
