2. Lunch Runs – How long do you get for lunch break? 30, 45, 60 minutes? Take half of that time and run with it (I’m loving these idioms)! Taking a break from the monotony (or stress) of a job, and going for even a short run can reduce tension and improve your state of mind. If you work for yourself, then you really have no excuse; set aside a small chunk of time each afternoon to hit the pavement and clear your thoughts. You may be surprised at how much better you feel after a quick run.

Great tips! And I was loving the idioms too! Thank you for including me! That made my day!
If you get enough other people pissed off at you because you haven't been able to run in a while, then it will also become a priority for them to make you go run. My family hates it when I don't get my stress relieving miles in. Every day the kids bedtimes get a little earlier.
Of course! You were the first person I thought about when I sat down to write this post. If anyone knows about making time to run, it's you. You don't let anything stop you. I admire that.
So true, John. My friends and family know when I haven't had a run in a while. It's funny what a few miles can do for us.
Great tips! I am one of the "crazies" who gets my exercise in first thing in the morning. The alarm goes off at 515am and I'm spinning or running by 545am! Sometimes when it's nice out, I will go for a 15 minute walk during my lunch break at work, but I've never gone for a run. I am most motivated by having a race on the calendar. Probably why I race all year long! Running, or exercise in general is definitely a priority for me. Like John said, my family will tell me to go run, they can tell that I need it!
